FIU had two track & field athletes earn All-American honors as Benia Gregoire (weight throw) and Marissa McElveen (long jump) were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Gregoire was named second team All-American and McElveen was honorable mention All-American. HERE is the release.
Both Gregoire (above) and McElveen won Sun Belt Indoor Championships in their respective events. At the NCAA Indoor National Championships, Gregoire finished 11th and McElveen was 17th.
