The preseason Sun Belt Conference favorites Troy and FIU open a three-game series at the FIU ballpark tonight. The Trojans (13-15, 3-6 SBC) and Panthers (16-13, 4-5) were both selected to finish first before the season.
Troy will send right-hander Tyler Ray (2-2, 3.91 ERA) against FIU left-hander Mason McVay (1-2, 3.00 ERA).
