The FIU basketball team opens its final season of Sun Belt Conference play tonight when it hosts Arkansas State at 7:30 p.m. The Panthers are coming off their first win of the season, an 87-77 victory at Coastal Carolina last Saturday.
The Red Wolves have won four straight games after losing their season opener. FIU and ASU split their two games last season with the Panthers winning in Miami, 75-70, and the Red Wolves winning in Jonesboro, Ark. 77-67. ASU leads the all-time series with FIU, 21-6.
