FIU defensive end Tourek Williams will play in the Texas vs. the Nation College Football All-Star Game on Feb. 2 at Eagle Stadium in Allen, Tex. The game will be televised on FOX at 2:30 p.m.
Williams is a three-time All-Sun Belt Conference honoree. Williams started the most career games ever by a defensive lineman at FIU (39). Last season, Williams led the team with 14.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, going along with a career-high 46 total tackles (including 29 solo), two pass break-ups and three quarterback hurries. Williams finished second in the Sun Belt Conference with his sack total and third in tackles for loss.

Williams joins two other Panthers in college all-star games this year. Offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann will play in the 2013 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday at 6 p.m. on ESPN2. Safety and FIU's all-time leading tackler Johnathan Cyprien (below right) will play in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 26.
