MORE O-LINE BEEF
Tim Thomas, a 6-6, 315-pound offensive lineman from Crowley (Texas) High School has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play his college football at FIU.
Thomas is the Panthers’ 20th NLI signing in 2013, and the fourth offensive lineman in the class joining Jordan Budwig (6-4, 330/Ft. Lauderdale University School), James Cruise (6-5, 275/Palm Beach Gardens HS) and Chris Flaig (6-5, 305/Vero Beach HS).
With all five offensive line starters graduated from last year's team, there will be plenty of opportunity for playing time along the FIU O-line this coming season.
