Like most of the 2013 Panthers in the lineup and across the diamond, there are plenty of new faces on the pitching mound. FIU does return its ace and its closer. The Panthers also assembled a balanced bullpen with six right-handers and four left-handers to give coach Turtle Thomas several options in the late innings of games this season. FIU pitching coach Drew French takes on a tour of the 2013 Panthers pitching staff starting with returning Friday night starter Mike Ellis, who led the team with a 3.13 ERA last season.
